Yoga for the Mind

“Mom, you need to try yoga”, my daughter would say to me while I suffered from relentless anxiety and tension during my health journey with disease. At the time, I was reluctant to open my mind to a new way of thinking. Thankfully, I gracefully listened to her pleas and began a yoga practice at home.

In our present day living, we are increasingly filled with uncertainty, stress, and illness. These things that we currently face are impacting how we look at our world, one with a positive focus or filled with negative thoughts that spiral down. Yoga is a form of fitness that can help to strengthen the body with a more positive mind.
