How to De-stress these Stressful Times!

You may be feeling unorganized and like your normal schedule has fallen apart, but we’re here to help you de-stress these stressful times!
See below for easy ways to incorporate movement, meditation, and mindfulness into your day– the 3 M’s for keeping stress at bay!
- Take a walk. There is nothing more relaxing than a walk at your favorite park or in your favorite neighborhood. Even if you don’t want to spend time reflecting and thinking– enjoy the weather and nature around you and the personal awareness that you are graced with the ability to walk your own two feet out your front door!
- Discover morning serenity after finishing a meditation! Finding your new favorite morning meditation is as easy as pulling up your favorite streaming platform (Spotify, Youtube, etc.) and trying a short 3-5 minute meditation. Set your alarm for a few minutes earlier and do one while laying down or sitting up in bed.
- Be mindful of where you spend your energy. Especially with what’s going on out in the world– if by 2pm everyday (you’re lucky if you make it this far) your head is fried and you don’t know how to get through the rest of your day, be more mindful about where you spend your energy. Don’t make unnecessary investments and waste your reserve!
